The John Deere Z730M is a Kawasaki-powered mid-tier member of the Z700 Series ZTrak line, combining the heavy-duty frame and HC PRO mower deck of the flagship Z740R with the refinement of a premium operator station at a more accessible price point.
Power comes from a 23 HP Kawasaki FX691V V-Twin engine with commercial-grade air filtration, full-pressure lubrication, and cast-iron cylinder liners. Dual hydrostatic transmissions deliver ground speeds up to 10 mph, and the generous 8.5-gallon fuel tank keeps mowing sessions long. Three deck sizes – 48-in., 54-in., or 60-in. – are available.
The Z730M includes a 22.5-in. seat with adjustable springs, armrests, and ComfortGlide™ suspension, cut-height adjustment dial in 1/4-in. increments, and premium motion-control levers.
